2024 Pioneer Family Camps
Come join us for one of our Family Camp weeks filled with fun and fellowship for the whole family! Family Camps run Sunday through Friday select weeks throughout the summer. Relax and refresh on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie. Enjoy daily worship, Bible study, campfire devotions, and plenty of activities to keep the whole family, young and old, engaged! Family Camp planning is underway.
2024 Pioneer Music Week
Pioneer on the Lake will once again resonate with harmony this summer as we offer Music Week 2024! This traditional week is attended by musicians of all ages and skill levels – plus some who just come to listen. Dr. Ron Blackley, Professor of Music at Ashland University, returns this year to direct the Music Week choir with his characteristic energy and humor.
2024 Pioneer Car Cruise-In
Join us every Friday from April 19th-Sept. 27th, 2024, 5pm-dusk, weather permitting, for our Lakeside Car Cruise-In! All are welcome to this family- friendly event. Park in the Herr Road parking lot and enjoy classic cars on our lakeside property! The Country Store will be open for hot dogs, hamburgers, Perry’s ice cream, and more. Bring a lawn chair and stay for the sunset as we enjoy classic cars and God’s beautiful creation!
2024 Sunday Service
Come join us and gather to worship in our beautiful, lakeview surroundings. Local churches will host Sunday worship services with a picnic lunch to follow. In case of rain, service will be moved to Hickman Hall.
These events are free to attend, and everyone is welcome!
2024 Jr/Sr High Retreats
Join us for a fun-filled weekend in Spring and Fall! These weekends will be jam-packed with meaningful worship, relevant teaching, a service project, devotion time, awesome Christian fellowship with friends new and old, and lots of fun games! It’s a weekend your teen will wish will never end!
Stronger Together Family Camp
Pioneer is excited to host “Stronger Together Family Camp” in partnership with Jacob’s Ladder Special Needs Fitness and the Lutheran Association for Developmentally Disabled. This camp is specifically designed for persons with developmental disabilities and their families to experience Pioneer and all it has to offer.
2024 Servant Saturday
Come share your time and talents and help us build a firm foundation for future generations. We want to be good stewards of all God has given us here at Pioneer!
2024 Gardening Club
Join us this summer for our first ever Pioneer Gardening Club!
Start the day with a short devotional followed by gardening work on our beautiful grounds.
Tools will be provided however, feel free to bring your own.
2024 Pioneer Fest
Pioneer on the Lake is pleased to announce the artists for our 2nd Annual Pioneer Fest held on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie!
This is a FREE concert and event for the whole family! Join us for a fun-filled day.
Come early and enjoy swimming on our beach, bounce houses, face painting, fun for everyone and so much more!
Food for purchase and Perry’s Ice Cream will be available at our Country Store!
End the night by watching a beautiful sunset!
